RIGHTS & CLEARANCES
All projects these days require obtaining permissions from many different sources. We have many years of experience in this area and can help you obtain quick clearances and negotiate a reasonable fee for such usage because of our massive experience and our relationships with all parties involved.
FILM CLIPS & PHOTO CLEARANCES
Permission for the use of film clips and phots, a license obtained and fee negotiated must be obtained from the owner of the work you want to use. We have many years of experience in this area and can help you obtain quick clearances and negotiate a reasonable fee for such usage.
TALENT CLEARANCES
Permission must be obtained from actors appearing in film and television clips. Talent clearance fees are set by SAG/AFTRA and start at the union scale payment of approximately $1000. However, an actor is not required to accept this fee and can negotiate considerably higher rates. Payment to Pension & Welfare is also required, which is something like 12%.
MUSIC CLEARANCES
Music clearances require two sets of clearances, one for the words and music (called publishing) from the publishing company and one for the recording (master recording) from the record company.
PUBLIC DOMAIN
Determination of whether material in in the public domain and can be used for free is frequently difficult.

We charge either a per clearance fee for obtaining permission for film clips, photos, talent, and music or a weekly rate depending on how many clearances are required.

Clip Clearance $300
Talent Clearance $200-$300/talent
Music Clearance $250/sync & $250/master
Still Photo Clearance $175-$250
Directors/Writers Guild fee calculations $200
Budget $300-$500
Our fees are negotiable depending on the project and the difficulty of the clearances requested. Our budget for your project will help you determine the amount and estimated cost of your clearances into the total budget of your project. We can also suggest alternative material should the material you wish to use be too expensive or unobtainable
We provide you with all documents required to complete your project, including budgets, on-going clearance status reports, all payment sheets and all license agreements..
